To provide information about the causes, effects, manifestations, and treatments for social climbing as a behavior, show that social climbing is a mental disorder classified as a narcissistic personality disorder and encourage discussion of user experiences like for example friends with a social climber, victims of social climber, social climber, and even professionals (therapists/psychiatrists) to help address the behavior.
